What a turn out! The day started out with clouds in the sky. When I got there it was starting to drip a little bit. I was worried the show would get rained out, which is always very unfortunate because all the time, effort, preparation, and of course money that goes in to having a car show in the first place. Lucky for everyone
the rain passed us over very quickly in the morning and didn't rear it's ugly head again until much later in the day when the show was nearly over. With the threat of rain on radar I thought it'd deter fellow car lovers from bringing out their rides, boy was I wrong! The cars trickled in throughout the morning filling up spaces here and there. Then suddenly the rush hit, in no time there were over 250 cars. The place was packed with people and cars. The restaurant was full with a wait time of over an hour just to get seated. Luckily Lyn thought ahead and had other food vendors outside ready to serve with cheeseburgers, fries and bbq and ice cream. Lyn also brought in Flamin Dick & the Hod Rods, who if you've heard them play you know they're always a treat to hear. For me this show is most definitely being added to the "attend again" file.
